Conference overview
The RES Annual Conference is the Royal Economic Society’s flagship event. Each year, our conference brings together hundreds of economists to present and discuss the latest economic research.
We are delighted to be taking the conference to the University of Birmingham, where we will hear keynote sessions from:
- Sargan Lecture – Prof. Stephane Bonhomme, University of Chicago
- Hahn Lecture – Prof. Nagore Iriberri, University of the Basque Country
- The Economic Journal Lecture – Prof. Michael Greenstone, University of Chicago
- Presidential Address - Prof. Mary S. Morgan, London School of Economics

Payment for booking the 2025 Annual Conference is via credit or debit card. If you can only pay via invoice, please contact finance@res.org.uk for assistance before you start the registration process.
